During my studies, and as a marketing project, we had a Tuborg (Carlsberg) as the client. We had to come up with a digital marketing concept that could enlarge their market share on the Russian market. The biggest problem was that it’s forbidden and prohibited to advertise any sort of alcohol in Russia, so we had to think differently. We decided to work with influencer marketing and doing a product that would speak for itself. We decided to use VR to create and extravagant experience for consumers to make them keep buying the product. By using influencer marketing, we were able to broaden the concept without breaking any laws, because it’s not prohibited to advertise through i.e. bloggers.
